The Voyager
Letting her zest for adventure guide her, Zoe has made her way through notable sites and countries and spent five years living in China. She’s not averse to hopping on a random bus and getting lost on purpose just to explore. Of course, it helps that she’s conversationally fluent in Chinese. Another neat trick she picked up while abroad: the ability to use chopsticks to eat just about anything. Though she currently calls North Carolina home, she stays connected to her global network of “chosen family” from her years living abroad (thank you, WhatsApp!).

As accounting manager at Acertitude, Zoe supports the finance department with various day-to-day financial and accounting tasks. Leaning on her attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills, she divides her time between managing records, preparing reporting, handling payments, and maintaining systems. She also supports various HR needs and is a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Prior to joining Acertitude, Zoe spent five years in China in various academic environments. She also gained experience in the public sector. during her time at the American Consulate in Shenyang, China working with the American Trade Administration. Zoe earned an MBA with a focus in corporate social responsibility from Northeastern University in Shenyang, China and holds a bachelor's degree in international business from High Point University.
When she doesn’t have her head in the numbers at work, Zoe enjoys taking the weekend to spend quality time with friends and family now that she’s back in the United States. You’ll also find her experimenting in the kitchen and exploring local shops. There is never a dull moment if she's in charge of the agenda.
