The Straight Shooter
One of the greatest qualities in business is authenticity. And that is exactly what we love about Rose. She is real, full of integrity, and tells it like it is. Though, as a kid, Rose tells us she and her identical twin fooled her parents a time or two by pulling some hilarious pranks. You guessed it: they would switch places, and no one could tell a thing! In every role she undertakes — CFO, colleague, twin, wife, and mother — Rose’s dedication, genuineness, and passion are admirable.

As Acertitude’s finance leader, Rose helps us shape our strategic direction. She is vice president of finance and corporate controller and also serves as chief financial officer of our sister firm, O’Neill Consulting, an Acertitude company. Rose oversees all the firm’s financial activity, amidst the company’s strong global growth trajectory. Her workflow crosses many areas like accounting processes, financial strategy, forecasting, budget development, and so on.
As O’Neill Consulting’s chief financial officer, she oversaw, and continues to oversee, all finance and accounting operations, supporting O’Neill Consulting’s growth path while mitigating risk. Her work here includes maintaining healthy records, budgets, and controls to handling day-to-day transactions.
With 25 years of progressive finance experience, Rose first established herself as a New York State CPA in Big 4 accounting, then advanced into financial leadership roles in the nonprofit sector. Her career also includes a decade running her own business as an independent financial consultant. In every role, she has built a reputation for steadfast commitment and reliability. And true to the New Yorker that she is, thrives in ever-changing, dynamic environments. Rose studied accounting at Le Moyne College.
Rose brings these strengths to her passions outside of work too. She enjoys challenging herself in high-intensity interval training; promoting food allergy education on behalf of her son; and cheering on her three children’s sports teams together with her husband. Since moving to Rhode Island, her family also relishes in the plentiful water and boating activities “The Ocean State” has in store.
