The Renaissance Man
We think of Guy as the Renaissance Man as he musters enthusiasm for most subjects and things, with a mind-numbingly broad range of interests. He is an inveterate reader and history lover, fond of the old as much as the new (things with wings and wheels, building conservation and innovative sustainability practices, antiques and contemporary art, political, social, and military history as well as current events, classical literature and freshly released musical tracks, and so the list goes on and on.) Sports also hold a big place in his heart, having competed in motorsport, rugby and cricket at various times (by his own admission, with negligible success!).

Guy brings over 20 years of executive search and assessment experience to his role as managing partner, leader of the global Business & Professional Services practice, and co-leader of the Private Equity practice at Acertitude.
He primarily serves business & professional services and industrial companies, helping them recruit, assess, and retain their leaders and executive teams. In addition, he has extensive experience working with private equity clients, pre-and post-deal, across a broad range of portfolio firms and contexts. Guy is also responsible for the international build-out of Acertitude.
Guy founded, built, and successfully sold a leading specialist executive search firm to a NYSE-listed global competitor before joining Acertitude from Russell Reynolds Associates, where he led the Business & Professional Services practice from London and was a partner on the Industrial and Private Equity teams. Guy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Reading.
Prior to executive search, Guy worked in the insurance and motorsport industries. He is also a Non-Executive at InMotion Ventures – Jaguar Land Rover’s venture capital and incubator business, investing in high growth companies in the mobility and smart transportation sector.
When he is not at our London or New York office, Guy dedicates his time to his family whilst failing to find enough time to pursue his interests. He also loves cooking, eating out, drinking good wine and beer, and the odd cigar.
