Acertitude Recruits John Trodden as SVP of Sales for Axiom Fiber Networks

Recognized sales leader to guide telecom firm's sales strategy and function

New York, NY, October 27, 2015 – John E. Trodden, Jr., has been named Senior Vice President of Sales for Axiom Fiber Networks, the rapidly growing provider of telecommunications infrastructure services to carriers and enterprise customers in the New York metropolitan area.   In this role, Trodden will build and direct the sales team and distribution channels needed to support Axiom’s development of an extensive high-density fiber optic network and supporting services that meet the expanding needs of New York-area carriers and other customers.

Axiom offers dark fiber and custom networking solutions over its wholly-owned network, with a focus on creating the best customer experience from sale, through implementation, to ongoing service life-cycle management.

Trodden, who has an extensive record of senior sales and management positions within the communications industry, will build both a sales strategy for Axiom and the sales function needed to implement it.  He also will be called upon to serve as a member of the senior Axiom management team, working with his colleagues to establish Axiom as the preferred provider of networking services across the New York area.

“This is an exciting chance for me to take what I’ve learned over the past two decades in telecommunications sales and management, and apply it on behalf of a great company providing New York with one of its most valuable assets in our digital age,” Trodden said.  “Our customers must have a great telecommunications infrastructure to thrive, and I plan on making sure they know Axiom is their best choice to provide it.” 

After beginning his career with Sprint Communications, Trodden held senior sales and general management positions for Windstream (formerly PAETEC Communications) and AT&T, primarily in the New York area.  His individual and sales-team performance, coupled with his ability to develop long-term relationships with leading global customers, earned him numerous awards and recognition, as well as steady career advancement.   Throughout his career, he has consistently created and developed sales teams that increased sales revenues and growth rates.  In his new post, he will operate from Axiom’s New York City office, and report directly to Alvarez.
